San Francisco California Wedding {Jamie & Chris}

From the Bride: The most important and special part of our day was spending it with people that we love and consider family. We feel that family is who you make it and it doesn’t matter if you are related by blood, it only matters if you are related by love and support. The most unique part of the wedding was the venue. Built in 1918, The California Club was an easy decision as it is a part of Chris’ family and it is so beautiful. The first time I saw The California Club I knew that was where Chris and I would get married. For the decor we were influenced strongly by New England as Chris’ family has a home on Cape Cod and as a couple we spend our summers out there. Hydrangeas are very important to the New England feel so almost every flower arrangement was full of white hydrangeas. The thought behind the design was a perfect blend of East and West Coast. It was important for the look to be timeless, classic, yet still be our style as a couple. We went with simple black and white, with hints of fresh green to compliment the golf course and natural setting as well as bring a pop of color to the otherwise basic black and white. We wanted to be able to look back at our wedding and be proud of the design and decor and know that it would never go out of style.
