With the official beginning of summer, we thought it only appropriate to share some refreshing drink inspiration fit for any warm weather soiree – the epitome of summertime…Pink Lemonade. With the help of a Wedding Row California fav, Josh Gruetzmacher Photography, we’ve created two wedding scenarios utilizing a crowd pleaser ingredient – Pink Lemonade. Although we’re featuring two specific occasions, we hope you’ll pull inspiration for many other summertime affairs…the bridal shower, engagement party, rehearsal dinner, or even just your weekend BBQ. Our main goal? Share with you two tasty (and just plain pretty) summertime refreshers, with few ingredients that are easy peasy to make in large quantities. Pre-Ceremony Drink: Pink Lemonade & Cucumber
Be the ultimate host and offer your guests a refreshment before the ceremony even begins. For an outdoor wedding that takes place in the warmer months, its a no-brainer, guests will be super appreciative of a tasty rehydration. Opt for something simple, easy to make, naturally lovely, and non-alcoholic like our Pink Lemonade and Cucumber.
Ingredients (can it get ANY easier than this??):
- Pink lemonade concentrate
- Cucumber slices

Cocktail Hour/Reception: Pink Lemonade Cocktail
Offer guests some sweet and sparkly to set the tone for your summertime celebration – a Pink Lemonade Cocktail. Not only is this drink insanely easy to make for large parties (see the trend here?) and delicious, but it’s pretty darn lovely. Add a drink stir or some unique glassware, and you’re set for gorgeousness.
Ingredients:
- Pink lemonade concentrate
- Club soda
- Vodka
- Limes pinwheels
- Mint garnish
How To Make It:
- Make pink lemonade according to package instructions, except substitute water for club soda.
- Fill glasses with ice.
- Place one lime pinwheel in each glass.
- Add one shot of vodka to each glass.
- Fill with pink lemonade.
- Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint.
